If you’ve had a long day of playing or have just been sitting in front of a computer for too long (or both), give this 2-stretch combo a try. Your body will thank you.

The first stretch opens up your hip flexors, which tend to get very tight with prolonged sitting and can contribute to lower back issues. Raising the arm up over the head can increase the stretch at the hips as well as open up the ribs and shoulder.
The second stretch is great to open up the shoulders and middle back, which are two of the most biggest areas where musicians tend to accumulate tension.
